6 months pregnant
I'm in my 6th month now and the 7th month is getting closer. I'm ready for the 3rd trimester! This pregnancy is flying by, but also going very slow. Time is strange when you're pregnant! I feel like everyday is so long, just drags by, but when I look back, I can't believe how fast it has gone too. I'm trying to stay positive because I love being pregnant and I'm so happy to have another baby growing inside, but being pregnant can be a real pain sometimes! I've basically been sick all of January and February with flu/cold/ear infections that I can't seem to get over. This past weekend, I was in the ER twice for an ear infection that won't go away and, of course, I can hardly take any pain or cold medication since I'm pregnant so I've been feeling pretty miserable. But the baby is moving all the time and that makes me feel much better! Hopeful spring will be here soon and I can enjoy the last few months of pregnancy.

Happy Valentine's Day!
Here are some photos of Henry enjoying a sweet treat on Valentine's Day. He really loves frosting. He also had his first Valentine's day party at day care so he came home with a bunch of cards and candy from his little friends. Since he couldn't eat most of the candy, Aaron and I got to enjoy some treats too!

22 week ultrasound
We had another ultrasound yesterday and got to see our new little boy again. We had to go to a follow up ultrasound to make sure his heart was developing ok. They couldn't get a clear picture of his heart at the last ultrasound. After weeks of praying, we were very relieved to hear that everything looks fine. The saw all 4 chambers of the heart and checked all the arteries going into the heart.
We got some 3d pics and he is a cute little guy. I'm trying to decide from the pics if he looks like Henry did in his ultrasound. I don't think so, but Aaron does. I think this baby looks more like Aaron (has his nose!) but Aaron thinks I'm crazy and that it is too early to tell (whichi is probably true). He is growing so fast! He already weighs 1 lb. I'm 22 weeks right now, so we have about 4 months left to go. After seeing him inside, we are even more excited to meet him! We plan on going shopping for a crib and bedding tomorrow.

Kaeden's Birthday
Yesterday we celebrated my niece Kaeden's birthday. She turned one on January 8th. She was born just 13 days after Henry. I can't believe Kaeden and Henry are both one! The year has gone by so fast. We have really enjoyed watching them grow together. Here are some pictures on Kaeden's special day.
Henry and Kaeden sharing food. He kept eating off her tray, but Kaeden didn't seem to mind.
Kaeden had a pool party. Here is Henry in the pool. This is his new expression!
Baby watching babies
Henry is a social little guy. He loves playing with other kids and especially other babies who are his size. Here is a picture of Henry watching his baby movie.
You can tell how much he loves it! He will stand there and watch for at least 10 minutes before losing interest and playing with something else. But he will keep looking back to make sure the babies are still on tv. We don't let him watch tv often, but I do put the baby movie in when I'm getting ready for work in the morning. It's either the movie, or him playing with everything he can get his hands on in the bathroom (toilet paper, flushing the toilet, curling irons, hair dryers, opening the trash, etc). So I figured a little tv time won't hurt him and he loves watching his baby movie so much!

Our ONE year old!
Now that Henry is one I thought I would do a quick update on what he can do.
-shake his head no (in the video clip we are trying to take a 20 wk pic of my baby bump, but the camera was on video mode instead of picture mode. It worked out though because we got a brief clip of Henry shakinghis head no)
-say Mama and Dada (sometimes to us, sometimes just babbling)
-raise his hands up when we say "Touchdown"or "So Big"
-wave bye bye
-flush the toilet (he loves the sound it makes)
-points to everything and says "wassat" (what's that)
-sleeps 12-13 hours a night (typically from 7pm to 7am, although he has slept in until 8:00 on weekends)
-change the channel/volume on the tv
-starting to stand by himself
-cruises along furniture and walks while holding on to the wall, a toy, or our hands (this picture is of Henry "wall walking" he was crying because I wouldn't pick him up. Poor guy, but I wanted to get a picture of his silly wall walk)

-give kisses and hugs
-drain the water in the bathtub
-easily climb up the stairs and sometimes can climb down the stairs
-gives hi 5s

New Year- 2010
My New Year's resolution for 2010 was to find a way to stay in touch with friends and family. I thought starting a blog would be a great way to do this. It will also be a good way for our family to keep track of and document all the changes in our lives. (Sorry Henry- but I've been falling behind on your baby book!). I wanted to start this blog by posting a picture of Henry taken one year ago at this time. It is hard to believe how much he has changed!
